Update Sept. 13 2009 Today Fearturing Pro Or Con "Raw Foods Diet" By Health Experts

The raw food diet is defined as diet with 75% of unprocessed and uncooked plant foods including all types fresh fruit, vegetables nuts and seeds in order to avoid heating (above 116 degrees F is believed to destroy enzymes in food), thereby, preventing the loss of vitamins and minerals and increasing the absorption of vital nutrients of the digestive system.Unfortunately, it is not for people with digestive disorder, since it increases the risks of diarrhoea and other symptoms of digestive system. People first time in the diet may find to have diarrhoea or loose stool and other digestive problem, but they will go aways in a few days.

Reducing Inches Through a Raw Food Diet and Keeping the Weight Off Forever

By Jan Gamm

Sounds great doesn't it? That's because it is great and adopting a raw food diet can totally transform your eating habits by producing an amazing feeling of health and well being in a remarkably short time.

People who have been habitually overweight for many years will have tried many diets to try to lose the excess weight that makes them suffer with low energy levels, poor circulation and be susceptible to the many life threatening disorders that are typical of patients suffering with diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure; all of which are the potential forerunners to an early death.

The problem with diets is that so many of them involve eating unappetising foods, or they are so quirky that they require enormous will power to be able to refuse traditional foods over a long period of time. Some people have such a lot of weight to lose that they abandon their diet after a few months amidst promises to return to their healthy regime after a rest period. Of course the rest period does not end when it should and the poor dieter ends up back where they started and may even have put on weight into the bargain.

A raw food diet can change all that. One of the main advantages of eating raw foods in quantity is that they significantly diminish the appetite, leaving the person happily satisfied for longer periods without having to eat to crush gnawing hunger. How great is that?! Energy levels are also raised, and the dieter experiences the ability to exercise, improving muscle tone and helping general health to improve gently over time.

Taking the step to introduce a raw food diet does not involve any of the complicated preparation required to indulge in so many special diet regimes; it simply involves purchasing a good quality juicer and letting nutritious food work it's magic.

Raw food is easy to prepare and easy to consume. Part of the difficulty of sticking to a rigid diet is the temptation to 'pick' at food whilst it is cooking. With a raw food diet, it is very easy to resist the urge to munch on a raw celery stick or carrot and even if you did, it would not matter! The reduced hunger usually pre-handles spontaneous snacking anyway.

The raw food diet, especially in the early stages, sometimes results in lost inches before the weight comes off. The remarkable results can mean a loss of around four inches from hips or waist with only a couple of pounds in weight being lost. This is because much of the weight has converted to muscle and the dieter is usually so delighted with the feeling of well being traditionally associated with a raw food experience, the actual weight loss is monitored somewhat less fanatically than on conventional calorie counting diets.

For serial dieters with a lifetime of dieting failure behind them, the raw food option is a revelation as they find themselves able to keep the weight off permanently.

If you are considering a healthier lifestyle, start with a single gear juicer. I recommend the Samson Juicer from Purely Juicers. If you prefer a twin gear juicer try the Omega Juicer
