6 pack Abs is considered as a weight loss program which helps to strengthen your abdominal muscles and lose body fat. In order to accomplish each of these goals, it will need your dedication, willpower, patience and time to get a six pack but in the end, the effort is well worth it. You can have the most toned and defined abs but they won't show through if there's a layer of fat over them.

My 6 Pack Abs Diet
Friends at the gym often ask me how I obtained the flat ripped look round my abdominals, you know the so called "6 pack". Most of my friends are surprised (even shocked) when I tell them the truth: I don't do crunches until I puke, I don't do sit ups (at all), don't use any stupid gadgets or electronics or any other junk you see on an infomercial; The secret behind my 6 pack abs is really much more simple. Here are some of my key secrets:
Secret 1: Lots of fiber. Fiber and the junk parts of fresh fruit, veg and cereal that your body can't digest. How does eating fiber help me achieve my 6 pack? Well fiber cleanses the body by keeping the other food you eat moving through the digestive system, meaning you consume less calories. Consuming less calories means less body fat which in turn means more visible abs.
Secret 2: Drink water. Drink lots of it. Studies show people who drink water throughout the day have less body fat than those who do not, losing body fat will help those abs show through than any other single method. Personally I drink 8 glasses throughout the day and also consume fresh fruits which are rich in water. Avoid sugary soda and drinks which are high in caffeine.
Secret 3: Schedule meals. Optimally you should eat 5 times a day: lighter meals speed up your metabolism, which in turn lowers your body fat. You will also avoid hunger pangs making you less likely to give in to the temptation of some nasty sugary food by eating regularly throughout the day. Also you should ALWAYS eat breakfast: studies show that those who skip breakfast very likely to make up by eating big later in the day, and were much more likely to go to bed on a full stomach when their metabolism is running slower!
